Springfield Lakes II

The challenge was to design a three-bedroom, double-living-space home on a small 362 sq. metre block, with a 3 metre fall from back to front.

This split-level north-facing design places the bedrooms over the garage and media room, allowing the main living space to enjoy high ceilings.

The entry and central staircase acts as a vertical flue to ensure the house enjoys cross air ventilation. This creative layout minimizes passages making the home feel a lot larger than 257 sq. metres.
